Hon. Osman Timbo has resigned as the Deputy National Secretary General of the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) Party. Timbo announced his resignation during a press briefing at his office on Jones Street, Freetown.
Despite stepping down from his party position, Timbo emphasized that he remains committed to the APC and will continue his political career. “I am not leaving the APC party nor stepping away from politics. My resignation marks another significant step in my ongoing political journey,” he stated.
Timbo added that his decision is part of a broader effort to serve the people in new and impactful ways. He reaffirmed his dedication to the values he has always upheld and described his resignation as a transition rather than an exit from politics.
His resignation comes at a crucial time for the APC as the party prepares for upcoming political engagements.
