betPawa, Africa’s leading iGaming platform, has set a new continental record with the largest-ever group payout on Aviator, awarding a total of SLE 24,750,000 (USD 1.1 million) to players across the continent.
The record-breaking event was revealed during a high-profile celebration in Accra, Ghana, where top winners from Ghana, Cameroon, and Zambia were honoured.
The historic Aviator round marked the highest combined win on a single round of the game in Africa, according to Spribe, creators of Aviator.
One of the most notable wins came from Cameroon’s Clovis, who placed two small bets of 150 FCFA and 100 FCFA (USD 0.26 and 0.17), and walked away with a total of 150 million FCFA (USD 270,000) thanks to multipliers of 500,000x and 750,000x—among the highest in African Aviator history.
Other significant winners include:
Prince from Ghana, who turned GH¢6.50 (USD 0.62) into GH¢2 million (USD 193,079) with a 307,692x multiplier.
Sidney from Zambia, who converted K6 (USD 0.25) into K3.25 million (USD 136,110) with a 500,000x multiplier.
Multiple Cameroonian players who earned individual winnings ranging from USD 25,000 to USD 155,000 from bets as low as 100 FCFA.
Additional wins were recorded in Uganda and Malawi, with players winning up to USD 124,000 from bets under 30 cents, underscoring the brand’s appeal with low stakes and high payouts.
This milestone follows betPawa’s 2023 record, when a player from Ghana won SLE 11.3 billion (USD 500,000)—the largest single payout in Aviator history.
