Former Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President, Thomas Daddy Brima, has dismissed the recently published Transition Committee report, insisting that he was not consulted during the inquiry.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with journalist Reginald Brian Ojukutu Sawyerr on the Epic Morning Show on Monday, Brima challenged the credibility of the findings, which have generated widespread debate across the country’s football community.
“Nobody called me. Nobody talked to me,” Brima stated, adding that the process through which the Committee compiled its findings was questionable.
The Transition Committee’s report, which outlined governance and accountability concerns within the SLFA, has dominated national sports discussions since its release. It has been described by many stakeholders as one of the most critical assessments of the FA’s operations in recent years.
Brima’s rejection of the report adds new controversy to the already heated debate, as stakeholders, fans, and oversight bodies await clarity on the way forward for football administration in Sierra Leone.
